Kodansha Akira anime vintage bandai 1988

This is my vintage, incomplete, Akira die cast motorcycle with Kaneda figure from 1988. This is a Japanese import by Kodansha/Bandai. I picked it up in 1988 when it came out at my local comic store. I was obsessed with Akira; the VHS by Streamline had just come out, and this little motorcycle was the only merchandise I had ever seen from Akira. I saved my pennies and snatched it up. I was 13.

Over the years I lost pieces to it. I have no idea what happened to them. It breaks my heart. But I was able to save some of it.

Included:

• The box
• the instructions
• the foam insert that holds everything
• Kaneda
• the bike. It is missing a hub cap and it's missing the windshield. But the rest of the bike is there; the cockpit, the two tires. Kaneda sits in the seat and you push the handlebars through his hands.
